Privacy notice

Who we are

FlitInfo ("we", "us") builds QR ordering software for restaurants, along with custom apps and websites. We are based in Doha, Qatar. For anything in this notice, write to hello@flitinfo.com.

This notice covers the website at flitinfo.com. It does not cover the ordering product itself, which is governed by the agreement we sign with each restaurant.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you fill in the demo form or email us, we receive your name, restaurant or company name, email address, phone number if you give one, the approximate number of tables you selected, and whatever you write in the message field.
• Basic technical data. Like any website, ours is served by a host that records standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.

We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo.
• To follow up about the pilot programme if you asked to take part.
• To keep records of business enquiries, and to keep the site secure and working.

We contact you about our services only where you have asked us to, or where we have a legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you started. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where it is required.

Services we rely on

A small number of third parties process data on our behalf so that the site can work:

• Our hosting provider serves the pages and keeps standard server logs.
• Our form provider receives what you type into the demo form and forwards it to our inbox.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site; loading them involves a request to Google's servers.

These providers may store data outside Qatar. We only use providers that commit to appropriate safeguards for the information they handle for us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in conversation with you, and for up to two years afterwards in case you come back to us. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will, unless we are legally required to keep them.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to hello@flitinfo.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS, access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it, and we review the services we use. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear on the page.
